WHY SHOULD I BUY
FURNITURE MADE OF WESTERN RED CEDAR?
Each piece of Triple V Custom Woodwork outdoor furniture is:
1) Crafted by hand from gorgeous western red cedar, chosen
for its high aesthetic appeal and long-lasting durability.
2) As one of North America’s great renewable resources,
cedar wood is light, naturally durable and the resin is poisonous
to insects.
3) Cedar has an extremely high thermal factor, meaning that
even in the warmest weather, it is cool to sit in.
4) It is a preferred wood for the finest garden furniture
where attractive appearance and weather resistance are important.
5) Unfinished cedar has a richly textured grain with colors
ranging from mellow ambers, reddish cinnamons and rich sienna
browns. Its' warm coloring is complimented by a uniform, fine-grained
texture with a satin luster.
It is not uncommon for a properly
finished cedar piece to last 100 years! This furniture is
often handed down from generation to generation and becoming
sought-after, particularly for collectors of Adirondack furniture.

HOW IS YOUR FURNITURE CONSTRUCTED?
Furniture parts are held firmly in place using 1-3/4”
stainless steel fasteners and elasticized polyurethane adhesive
to keep the furniture rigid and square, even in –40
to 120 degree temperatures.
WHAT MAINTENANCE DOES THE FURNITURE
REQUIRE?
Unfinished furniture made of western red cedar has richly
textured grain with colors ranging from mellow ambers, reddish
cinnamons and rich sienna browns. Its warm coloring is complimented
by a uniform, fine-grained texture with a satin luster. If
left unfinished, it will age over time, ultimately taking
on a silvery gray patina.
DOES MY FURNITURE REQUIRE FINISHING?
When you purchase furniture from Triple V Custom Woodworks,
you can order it unfinished, stained or painted. If you choose
to order it unfinished, you may finish it yourself in any
one of the following ways:
1) Oil/varnish combination: This
is the easiest to use. Flood liquid onto furniture and wipe
off in 10-15 minutes. Touch up as needed.
2) Oil/water-based stain: Utilize a good brand of oil or water-based
stain in any color desired. Paint on and wipe off.
3) Paint: First use an acrylic water-based primer followed
by a water-based acrylic enamel topcoat. If you do not use
a primer, the cedar will always “bleed through”
the topcoat.
WHEN ORDERING WHAT DOES THE “KIT”
OPTION MEAN?
When ordering a kit, you will receive cedar wood pieces, cut
to size and ready for sanding/finishing and assembly. Hardware
and instructions are also included so you can experience the
satisfaction of building your own furniture while reducing
costs.
HOW EASY IS THE ASSEMBLY OF THE
FURNITURE?
We ship all furniture partially assembled with detailed instructions.
Most pieces of furniture can be easily assembled using a power
screwdriver.
WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY POLICY?
If, for any reason, your furniture does not live up to your
expectations, please let us know and we will work with you
to make it right.
HOW DO YOU SHIP AND WHAT DOES
IT COST?
If you are located within 75 miles of Denver, with a minimum
order of $300, we will deliver it to you for no charge. If
not, shipping and handling charges will be in addition to
your furniture order and based on weight and destination.
We can provide a shipping quote in advance for your convenience.
HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Your order will be processed within 72 hours. Once it's processed,
your order typically will be shipped UPS Ground. At times,
however, a substitute carrier may be used to help contain
costs. Under normal circumstances delivery usually takes between
5-10 business days.
WHAT IF THE FURNITURE IS DAMAGED
WHEN I RECEIVE IT?
Our furniture is packaged with the utmost care, but if a shipment
arrives damaged, please follow these instructions:
1) Noticeable damage to the boxes:
Refuse the delivery, noting that your package is damaged in
the delivery ticket.
2) If you accept delivery and then open the package and find
it damaged, save all original packaging and notify us within
3 days by email or telephone. If the original packaging is
discarded, or if you send back the order without contacting
us for a return authorization number, the replacement claim
will be null and void, and a refund for the damaged item will
not be issued.
3) In either case, email or phone us immediately.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We offer a 20-day, no-risk guarantee. If within 20 days of
receiving your furniture you are not completely satisfied,
you may return the products for a refund of your original
purchase price. You are responsible for the return shipping
charges. Returns must be requested within 20 days of receipt
of merchandise. Please keep all original instruction sheets,
hardware packets (any extra nuts, bolts, glue, etc), and packaging.
All returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee. To request
a return, contact us by email or phone and we will contact
you with instructions.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
We strive to ensure that the outdoor furniture products listed
are available for order. If for some reason an item is not
available, we will notify you within 5 days, and you will
have the option of waiting for the item or canceling your
order.
